FIRST WA FRC Team 4061 • We are a high school robotics team that participates in the F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Competition for local students ages 14-18. Our Build Season is from January to March, and our Competition Season is March & April. We meet in Pullman at the SciBorg Workshop at 505 SE Riverview Street in Pullman.

Season
Pre Season: September - December
Meet two nights per week.
Training: Tool safety, CAD, Electronics, Programming, Business, Prototyping

Build Season: January - February
Kickoff, First Saturday in January.
Eight weeks of INTENSE work. Four weeknights (3 hours) plus Saturday (8 hours).
Design, Prototype, Build, Wire, Program, Test/Practice
Prepare Impact award

Competition: March - May
Two District Competitions: Oregon State Fairgrounds (Salem, OR) and the Yakima Sundome (Yakima, WA)
Continue improving and repairing robot between competitions.
District Championships (Seattle, Portland, or Cheney) if we qualify.
World Championships (Houston) if we qualify.

Participant Requirements
Time and Reliability
FIRST Robotics be can very time intensive (especially during build and competition season). What is Most important is to be predictable and reliable (able to commit to a schedule). Student often commit up to 20 hours a week for the build. ​

Age
Students need to be 14 years old by February 1st.
​​
State
Even though we're a Washington team, we bring together students from both Washington and Idaho.

Students are expected to embody the philosophy of Gracious Professionalism.

- FIRST Robotics Registration

- Lodging and Transportation form

Whitman County 4H registration: $25
Sciborgs Team Registration: $150​​​
